Research findings related to Astrobiology Center’s Project Research Topics (AB301003, AB311001) have been released.

Key Points:
- Establishment of a rapid and simple method for synthesizing iron-sulfur proteins essential for life in test tubes.
- With a combination of cell-free translation systems, oxygen removal systems, and iron-sulfur cluster biosynthesis systems, they created an artificial anaerobic environment in test tubes without a glovebox or other apparatus.
- The simple and convenient synthesis of iron-sulfur proteins and enzymes involved in various biochemical reactions inside various living organisms is expected for applications in new biotechnology and enzyme development.
